Privacy Policy – Pro Dyslexic Ltd

1. Who are we

Pro Dyslexic Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a company registered in England and Wales. We provide career coaching, workplace‑inclusion support, and related resources via www.prodyslexic.com (the “Site”) and associated services (together, the “Services”). We are the data controller for the personal information collected through the Site and in the course of delivering our Services.

Personal information, Name, email address, telephone, CV details, billing details, company name, accessibility preferences. Forms, bookings, email, live‑chat, and consultations

Usage & technical data: IP address, browser type, device ID, pages visited, interaction times, cookies, analytics scripts, server logs

Marketing & communication preferences, Newsletter opt‑in status, event registrations, Signup forms, account dashboard

Special category data (only if you choose to share), Information about your dyslexia or other neurodivergent traits relevant to coaching, during coaching sessions or questionnaire responses

We do not intentionally collect children’s data. If you believe a child has provided personal data without parental consent, please contact us, and we will delete it.

 

3. How and why we use your information

We process your data only where UK GDPR lawful bases apply:

5. Who do we share data with

If personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on UK adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

 

6. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary:

  • Client records – up to 7 years after final service (for tax and contractual evidence)

  • Marketing contacts – until you unsubscribe or after 3 years of inactivity

  • Analytics data – 26 months (Google Analytics default)

  • Cookies – as outlined in the Cookies Policy

We securely delete or anonymise data once the retention periods expire.

 

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you may:

  1. Request access to the personal data we hold.

  2. Ask for the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

  3. Request erasure (“right to be forgotten”) in certain circumstances.

  4. Request restriction of processing.

  5. Object to processing based on legitimate interest or direct marketing.

  6. Request data portability for the data you provided to us.

  7. Withdraw consent at any time (does not affect prior lawful processing).

To exercise any right, email privacy@prodyslexic.com. We will respond within one calendar month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

 

8. Security measures

We use SSL encryption on the Site, access controls, and secure hosting. While no method is 100 % secure, we follow industry best practices to protect your data.

 

9. Third‑party links

The Site may contain links or affiliate links to external sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We recommend you review any third‑party privacy notice before providing personal data.

 

10. Updates to this policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law or our services. Any update will be posted here with a new effective date; significant changes will be announced via the Site or email.
