Early years
My life has been shaped by challenges that were supposed to define me, none more so than when I moved into a children’s home at 14. Only to be expelled from school a year later. The statistics said my future would be prison, lifelong benefits, or worse, but I had other ideas. Just like with my dyslexia, I saw challenges, not barriers.
I disliked the label “dyslexic” and pushed it aside. Instead, I focused on the skills that held me back, spelling, note‑taking, and structuring ideas, and trained until each one became a strength. That mindset carried me onto professional stages as an actor, where clear storytelling and calm under pressure are everything, and into high‑pressure sales roles, where presence, communication and performance drive real outcomes.
Career
I began as a professional actor, learning how to connect with audiences, adapt quickly, and clarify complex material. Those skills became my foundation when I entered the world of business.
Over the years, I’ve worked in sales, account management, and business development, securing partnerships, leading teams, and growing revenue across the UK and Europe. I’ve worked with global brands, high-growth startups and purpose-driven organisations, always bringing a people-first approach and a deep understanding of what makes communication land.
My career has been shaped by the very things I once struggled with—and it’s that journey that now powers the work I do every day.
